It's simple to incorporate a spell checker into your software - without developing your own or licensing ours - just use our SPELLCHECK API.
You can easily incorporate Spell/400 into your own applications simply by distributing our special SPELLCHECK program. There's no need to distribute Spell/400, or force your customers to pay for a license or even provide support - we do it all.
Your customers have instant access to a spell checker within your software by downloading and subscribing to Spell/400 directly. And if they choose not to subscribe, your software will carry on working exactly as before.
By including our special VAR SPELLCHECK program into your application, you can call SPELLCHECK within your standard library list. SPELLCHECK will check for Spell/400 and do one of several actions:
1) If it finds Spell/400 it will transfer control to the spell checker and return the corrected text back to your software.
2) If Spell/400 isn't found then it can either end silently (and put a diagnostic message in the joblog) or;
3) It can display a warning window:
